Visible Cities is a collection of images and ideas about architecture and space. It is an examination of context—how our perceptions of the built environment influence our experiences. The photographs are street scenes and portraits of buildings shot in a variety of cities including Zagreb, Tehran, Phnom Penh and Boston. The images are connected by a narrative that draws from personal history and travel observations as well as readings related to architecture and the psychology of public space. There are 41 photographs and 21 pages of text.
