Untitled by Barbara Tetenbaum -SOLD OUT!

Sold
I had just purchased a number of historic decorative borders from the Skyline Type Foundry and wanted to test them out. I also had this gorgeous handmade paper that I had bought in 1996 when visiting the Saint-Gilles paper mill in Quebec, but had never used it. I did what I often do: print one run and then respond with the next. No going back. I love what I can do with metal type because you can shift and rotate it so quickly and test a new idea. There are a number of iterations of this print that have some really nice 'moves', but I landed on this simpler design. Printed originally for a portfolio organized by the publication 'Parenthesis'.
