Twenty-twenty Hindsight by Cathryn Miller

$150.00

Humans have used ritual methods to predict the future for as long as history has been recorded and, presumably, before that. Prognostication in any form requires memory of the past, both in the asking of a question and in the assessment of the answer. Due to the cryptic nature of the answers provided by this fortune teller, the questioner can only know what was predicted after it has happened, hence the title of the work. Fortune tellers occur in my work periodically. I consider them part of my exploration of the human perception of time.
