This is a kinetic book that expresses the waves of the sea and the waters approach to the shore’s edge. The poem, titled This is Our World, by Pauline Ushmanowicz, places a viewer in the scenery, simple observations and awareness occur. This project follows many of the guidelines of pop-up book structures where different papers play a part in supporting the structure and its light movements. Seven different papers and half cardboards were tested to arrive at the final structure.
