Then Entrust Love by James Allen

$2,200.00
Then Entrust Love is a book excavation created by carving into the pages of a found book called Hypnerotomachia Poliphili which is titled in English Poliphilo's Strife of Love in a Dream. Filled with wonderful woodcuts the original version of this book, first published in Venice, is a great example of an incuncable. Of course the version here is a recent reprint. The many wonderful illustrations are layered and combined with text that reads ' Take away order and the norm, with a burning flame and, on its face, an eye and a vulture. then entrust LOVE Their sweet laughter abated as they tenderly sympathized with me. Six little spouts protruded among the fruits I could best interpret this as: Always hasten slowly.'
