2020, the year of Covid 19 isolation with schools, libraries, shops closed and in winter, resorting to chatting with friends on Zoom. We lived in a pixelated, digital world. What will we remember, what will last - the questions asked in Shakespeare’s Sonnets 55 and 65. Text on the second panel is about language and memory by various authors.
Artist Bio
Jan Owen is a calligraphic book artist working in Belfast, Maine. She played with the Bangor Symphony for many years and likes the similarities with calligraphy of practice and then the finished piece. Her work is shown internationally and is in many collections. www.JanOwenArt.com
