This dos-a-dos pamphlet stitch binding combines The Road Home (After Natasha Tretheway), by Lynette Carpenter, with a companion piece, The Home Road, by Jeff Nilan. Both story and image sequence are meditations on family and place, as they are contained and constructed by memory they are bound together, both separated and connected.
Artist BioJeff Nilan received his MFA from Indiana University where he also taught for a number of years. His work has been shown throughout the United States and is in multiple Artists' book collections.
