Sacred Earth is made from 600 pieces of hand‑folded paper. 25 of the papers have hand‑calligraphed messages incorporated into the vessel with quotes, inspirations and prayers relating to the sacredness of Mother Earth and Nature. Once folded and made part of one of the Earth Spirit Vessels, these messages are not meant to be seen or read, but to be embodied into the spirit of the vessel itself. The photo above shows the 25 pieces of calligraphy that are included in the vessel. Each piece of paper is 2 x 4 inches.
