This work was inspired by children’s alphabet blocks and something I read on a subway wall many years ago. It is an alphabet “book” of psychological aberrations and phobias.
Artist Bio
Formerly a theatrical designer and fibre artist, Cathryn Miller switched to the books arts in 1994. Her works have won many awards, and are held in public and private collections in Canada, England, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. Her two goals in creating work are to make people stop and think for just a second, and to make people laugh.
