This book talks about the pain, and yet comfort, that remembering lost loved ones brings. It is specifically a story about my relationship with food, memories, and grief. This past summer, by chance, I went to the places my family most frequently traveled to during my childhood for the first time since my dad passed away last winter. I reminisced on the memories of food associated with these places that I had with my father, and tried to come to terms with these memories from my child. For myself, my younger self, and my father.
