I Make a Mark, I Make a Mark by Julie Filatoff

When her son died, artist Rae Missigman began making marks on paper over and over to help contain her grief. Decades later, she still works this way. Markmaking is also a way to combat nerves, express joy, count the passage of time, or simply say, “I am here.” This book looks very different depending on how one views it, much like an Agam painting.
