I Love My Love by Cathryn Miller -SOLD!

Sold
This book was a 45th anniversary present for my husband. Inspired by the children's game "I love my love with an A," but using numbers instead, the book counts ten ways. The book was designed to reflect my husband's life. The 'sideways' format was chosen because it resembles a thrust stage and my husband's first career was as a professional actor. There is a different flower represented with each number, chosen for their meanings and because my husband gardens. The book contains verbal, visual, and numerical puns to reflect his interests and his sense of humour. Only one basic pop-up structure is used, but there are a number of mechanisms and containers to be manipulated. Linocuts for the numbers and flowers were designed, printed and hand-cut by Monique Martin.
