The inspiration comes from a book I found called, The Common-Word Spellers, printed in 1921 for grades 5 - 7. It was a spelling guide with an emphasis on common words that were difficult to spell and pronounce. These words had Hard Spots and Demons, which I choose as the title. It reminded me of the many flashcards I made to help with my spelling and pronunciation.
