I've been making miniature books for more than 30 years; they have always fascinated me. This passion for small books started from the understanding that I could make books from the materials that other people threw away because it was too small to be "useful." Over the years I have started to see them as more than inanimate objects - they spoke to me and had personalities and a life of their own. This has led me to use miniature books to create "Codex Creatures" so that others could see their personalities as well.
