Cacophony by Ed Hutchins
Unseen Sounds Visualized.
Sounds are unseen, they can be heard but not viewed. Racing across intersecting surfaces and erupting from interior chambers--whether seen from the top, bottom, front, back, sides, or through viewing ports--a wide-ranging cacophony of sound expressions emerges in visual form. The flat structure unfolds into a colorful explosive wonderland where it is possible to see the unseen.
Artist BioEd Hutchins has taught, lectured, curated shows, directed book arts programs and created many editioned books while traveling across the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. Since 1989 he has been the proprietor of Editions, a workshop for producing artist book multiples.
