Artist Bio
A Southern California native, I had a hobby press as a teenager and after college and a brief museum career got into printing, in Vermont, Switzerland, and since 1972 running my own letterpress shop full time. There are many fonts here gathered from many shops, printed on a Heidelberg platen, cylinder, and a Vandercook. For over twenty years Sun Hill has letterpress-printed my Swiss wife Elisabeth's decorative pattern works as the Brookfield line distributed by OrangeArt of Woodstock, Connecticut.
