Concealed Within is an ongoing series of unique, un-openable book objects. Original book pages are folded, bound with cord, and collaged with mixed media, papers, painting and screen printing. This bundle is then sealed with hot wax. Each book is housed in a matching slipcase. Book and box have a matching number or word(s) signifying the title of each work. This series speaks to the appreciation of the tangible qualities of a book, but also to the implication of the inability to access the content.
