Weekend Update

Hard to believe it's time for another FIRST FRIDAY!

Tomorrow, Friday, May 1 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. please join us for an artists reception for Alex Appella, Jim Kazanjian and Loren Nelson. You may remember that Loren and Jim are the Best of Show winners from our Shelter Show in November. Their shows in the gallery this month are an expanded body of work from both artists that is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Alex Appella has traveled back home to Oregon where she was born and raised. She fell in love with a boy from Argentina and now lives there making her limited edition artist books as well as doing commissioned bindings and boxes. Her work is terrific and I think you will enjoy meeting her and Magu at the opening. Also, mark your calendar for the "Alex and Magu Show" on Saturday, May 9 at 5:00 p.m. where Alex will read her poetry and Magu will entertain us with latin guitar music.
