Victoria Bjorklund's Glass Figments Feature
Congratulations to 23 Sandy Gallery artist Victoria Bjorklund who is featured in the current issue of Lenswork Magazine. Not only did this richly printed photography magazine feature her Glass Figments portfolio, but they also put her on the front cover! Way to go Victoria.
Brooks Jenson, the editor of Lenswork said this about Victoria’s work:
“This portfolio of work may have its roots in the photographs of storefront windows by Eugene Atget, but with a thoroughly modern twist. Looking for compositions inside the windows, Bjorklund composes her images with the reflections from outside the window as an integrated dance with the interiors. This juxtaposition leads to layered images that invite a second and third look. The combination of classic aesthetic interiors in contrast to urbanscape reflections make for a varied and engaging portfolio”
