I am so pleased to share that Julie has created a delightful artist book for the digital age. For those of us who have had the pleasure of handling Julie's beautifully crafted handmade books we can truly appreciate her distinct style and unique voice that translates so well into this stop-motion app for your iPad or iPhone.
For our small world of book arts this kind of cross-over into mainstream media will surely only benefit our field with more exposure when people ask "what the heck is an artist book?" After viewing what they think is a simple ABC book for kids they just might discover a path to our "curious" little corner of the world.
