Just a short note to say thank you to everyone who made FEAST such a huge success! Yesterday was the last day of this amazing show and I am truly sad to see it go.
Thank you to all of the artists who entered the show, you produced so many thoughtful, well-crafted, inspired works of art.
Thank you to our librarian friends who voted for our Librarian's Choice Award, spending what must have been hours pouring over all 46 works in the show to pick your top three favorites.

Kathleen worked with a group of printmakers in Peru to create this stunning collaborative book. Each print has a food theme and is beautifully executed. Great fun yesterday when an aunt of one of the Peruvian artists stopped by to admire her niece's work.

Because Robin just stopped by the gallery and we had a delightful visit. And because she is a photographer exploring the book arts and I am thrilled with the work she has submitted to two of our juried shows. This book plus her Joy of Eating piece are both terrific additions to this fantastic show.

Because I'm a sucker for a carousel book and I just noticed that the oven door on this book opens. So clever. This one-of-a-kind book reminds me of my mother trying to teach me to cook (I was a terrible student) with her own Corningware dishes.

Today I am sitting in the gallery watching the neighbor's cat stalking birds in my Laurel hedge. Reminded me of this fantastic work by Elizabeth Sanford titled Backyard Food Chain. Elizabeth's work has been in several of our shows and is always a crowd pleaser.
