Paper Round-Up for Write Around Portland
We need paper--lots of it!
We will be hosting a bookbinding benefit for Write Around Portland in July. Local bookbinders will be coming together for a day to bind 100 journals for this great organization. If you have a few extra sheets of decorative paper lying around the studio (patterned, solid color, or whatever you’ve got) for covers and endsheets, we would love and appreciate your donation. So, clean out your flat files, and contribute to a good cause. Paper can be dropped off at 23 Sandy Gallery during normal business hours through June.
Write Around Portland helps transform lives, and our city, by offering writing workshops at no charge to people who may not have access to writing in their community due to income, isolation, or other barriers. Write Around Portland is committed to ensuring that everyone in our city has access to the power of writing by providing bus tickets, childcare, snacks, pens and journals to participants. Write Around Portland also publishes anthologies of participant writings and hosts community readings.
