Last month's show of Helen Hiebert's handmade paper string drawings was a beautiful first look at the craft of paper making here at 23 Sandy Gallery. The medium is one that we look forward to exploring further in future shows. We hope you can join us to celebrate Helen's other recent project called The Mother Tree Project. You might remember that I blogged about this project when it was up downtown last year. It was an important project that very much deserves to be highlighted on film.
Join artist Helen Hiebert, filmmaker Ian Lucero and choreographer Tracy Broyles for a screening of this short film documenting the Mother Tree Project, followed by Q&A + snacks. You can also contribute a root to the project and purchase a copy of the film.
