Description
During a single signal cycle at Gion intersection on March 17th, 2016 in Kyoto, Japan, dozens of people and cars passed each other with no lasting memories. Every seven seconds within that cycle, photographic images recorded this series of happenstance moments. The images were then reproduced and fragments removed, symbolizing how memories and events gradually recede from our awareness.
