Is the length of this mysterious book of hours saying our time is short: no time for words view the images and pray? Can we cheat death and wave goodbye. Is that the message of the last two pages? Oh, but dear viewer when you take take Death’s hand to open the window you see part of a palm trunk and the visual pun is that Death has you in the palm of its hand.Artist Biography
