This talented multiple-media artist will present a series of unique artist books as well as other three-dimensional pieces using book pages, handwritten letters and more. And, yes, Laura will wear that amazing dress!

Embellishing Book Pages & Collage Workshop with Mar Goman

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn from one of our most popular artists, Mar Goman. This workshop is perfect if you are interested in altering books or using old book pages and other types of text as backgrounds for collage pieces. The three-hour workshop will focus on using sewing, transparencies, transfers, and found objects to embellish book pages and collages. We will learn a simple way of staining pages, use simple drawing techniques and stencils for those who are intimidated by drawing, and produce one or more pieces you can take home.

Sadly, this workshop is currently full. However, we are creating a wait list in case anyone drops out or in case I can talk Mar into hosting a second evening. Email Laura if you wold like to be added to the wait list. I'll post more info soon.
